Planet Child After School Program was created on June 18 2025 serving children at Corpus Christi Elementary School here in Mississauga. 

* CPR Level C and first aid training certified staff

* Food safety certified staff.
* Clean & safe environment

* Hot and nutritious after school snacks

* Follows city of Mississauga and ministry of education requirements for quality care.

Our program focuses on developing social, emotional, cognitive, and academic skills through engaging, hands-on activities. Each day of the week is thoughtfully designed to nurture different areas of learning:

• Mindful Monday – Encouraging self-regulation and mindfulness.

• Tasty Tuesday – Exploring exotic foods and enjoying fun cooking activities.

• Wonder Wednesday – Engaging in science, art, and discovery-based learning.

• Thinking Thursday – Hands-on STEM activities and problem-solving challenges.

• Fun Friday – Promoting physical health through sports and gross motor games.

Our warm and inviting space includes:

• A dedicated Science, Sensory, and Art Area to spark creativity and exploration.

• A spacious workroom for STEM projects, building, and teamwork.

• A quiet activities room featuring a calming corner, language development, and social studies resources.

• A kitchen—where the magic happens on Tasty Tuesdays!

Outdoor learning is just as important to us! We have:

• A large backyard for gardening, bird and rabbit feeding, and nature exploration—perfect for discovering bugs and snails!

 • A  shaded outdoor area, allowing kids to safely enjoy fresh air and fun games even on rainy or sunny days.
